April 7th (pm), a group of 14 people from America Los Angeles County trade and investment delegation came for exchange visit in Shenzhen Science & Technology. Mr. Tao Yongxin, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shenzhen branch, Mr. Hou Yi, Chairman of the Board of Shenzhen Selen Science & Technology and Mr. Zhang Yuan, President of Shenzhen Selen Science & Technology met the delegation.
In the reception conference, President Mr. Tao together with main representatives of the delegation, director of the United States International development research institute, Mr. Vance Baugham, Special Representative of the United States Department of Commerce, reviewed the development of Shenzhen and Los Angeles as twin cities and expressed cooperative prospects about technology, economy and trade in the future. Chairman Mr. Hou Yi and his assistant gave introduction about the development history and future business plan of Shenzhen Selen Science & Technology to the guests. Members of the delegation spoke highly of and showed admiration to the development of Selen Science & Technology, especially about Selen’s achievements in anti-static/clean room industry and Selen’s future development plan in new material and new technology.
Thereafter, representatives of the delegation separately introduced Los Angeles County about opportunities for market development, various investment policies and local living security, education and investment environment. For both sides focused on industry development, supporting facilities and investment opportunities, they had a full discussion. At the end of the conference, Mr. Vance Baugham invited Director Mr. Tao, Chairman Mr. Hou Yi and some of the leaders to have investment investigation and visit in LOS Angeles County. After the conference, the delegation visited Selen Science &Technology R&D center in industry park which gave them a further understanding about development plans of Selen Science &Technology in mew material and new technology.
